Spring Break. What great memories I have of those days.
Of course, you should relax and have fun with friends and family, but remember that you ARE an athlete and there are still things you can do to maintain.
One thing is making proper food choices.
Of course, you should indulge a bit and enjoy delicious food with your family, but don't fall off of a nutritional cliff. Make smart decisions in the kitchen at snack time AND at dinner time.
Another thing you can do is STRETCH. Work on your flexibility.
That body you are walking around in will thank you.
Also, you can get a workout in, or just stay active. Put down the Xbox controller and go for a run, do some pushups and situps, or just play outside with some friends.
Play catch with your Dad, your Mom, a friend, or even your dog. This will keep your skills sharp and your arm strong.
There are other things you can do for personal development as well.
Read a book.
Listen to an inspirational speaker like Jim Rohn on YouTube.
Research a topic you are interested about and LEARN something.
Do NOT get me wrong. Spring Break is supposed to be FUN, and I want you to enjoy it.
Just don't stop getting better.
